Your Time Publishing, LLC Author Paulette Jones Reads to Students From Her Children Books Collection
Author Paulette Jones reads to preschool students at ReNew Learning Center.
New Orleans, La, October 27, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Your Time Publishing, LLC author Paulette Jones was warmly welcomed to the ReNew Learning Center preschool class. The children had all been prepared for her visit. She read from her “ABC on the streets of New Orleans” which chronicles some of the unique street names found around the city of New Orleans. Ms. Jones says she wrote this book so that visiting parents could bring a little of New Orleans home to their children. Some of the street names were even familiar to the preschoolers: Audubon Place, Magazine Street, and of course one of our most famous “Tchoupitoulas Street”. Included with each street name is a little bit of local history. Author Paulette Jones also has other children books: “The Brass Band Gig”, “Girls Day Out: The Adventure”, “Her First Sleepover”, and her adult fiction titles are: “HerStory: Revelations”, “Hidden Emotions: Family Ties, Family Lies”, and her latest release “TheirStory”, which is the prequel to “HerStory”, lastly and the most difficult to write is the reconstruction of her Katrina experience her memoir, “Katrina: One Set of Footprints.”
Ms. Jones next school reading will be at Dolores T. Aaron ReNew Elementary School, Friday October 30, 2015 to a group of 2nd graders from her book, “Her First Sleepover.” Ms. Jones believes that reading is fundamental, and her personal contribution to her community is the feeling she leaves with the children after her readings.
