The Patent Institute of Training to Launch New Patent Litigation Curriculum

Atlanta, GA, March 2, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Atlanta-based, Patent Institute of Training (PIT) unveiled its new litigation curriculum and announced the inaugural course beginning on April 15th.   

“Like our general curriculum, we created the litigation course to provide our students with practical experiences to reinforce what they’ve learned in the classroom,” said PIT’s founder, Attorney Braxton Davis, “Thus, making them more well-rounded and able to immediately contribute to a law firm without the traditional learning curve.”

Davis found that in the same way that most law students are not trained on the practical side of patent prosecution, they also lack practical experience on the patent litigation side.

Lauren Pringle will head up the litigation curriculum as the Director of Litigation.   Ms. Pringle, a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania Law School, spent time as a patent litigator at Fish & Richardson.  She is the founder of Deep Ellum Search Company, which provides prior art search and invalidity analysis for patent litigation and prosecution.
