The Non-profit Event of the Season in Cincinnati!

No one provides superior program services for adults with developmental & intellectual disabilities like non-profit BeauVita. 2015 is the year to move into residential services. BeauVita announces its annual fundraiser event at Cincinnati's Music Hall. It's going to be big! THE event of the season!

No one is doing it like BeauVita!

BeauVita provides day program service, in-home service (Family First), and transportation for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities (DD/ID). And no one in the entire Greater Cincinnati region does it like BeauVita does. Superior quality and innovative non-profit management are the buzz words you will hear every day in the BeauVita offices and BeauVita West center.

"BeauVita really knows how to throw a party. And we advance the powerful cause of an amazing non-profit while we attend. You can't miss it."

Jim , 2014 Attendee

The Department of Justice Civil Rights Division has launched an aggressive effort to enforce the Supreme Court's decision in Olmstead v. L.C. What does this mean? Organizations providing services to adults with DD/ID, like BeauVita, must "eliminate unnecessary segregation" of those adults with disabilities. If organizations do not comply, they could face legal ramifications and/or even forced restructuring or termination of their programs. So, "community inclusion", "integration", "real choice for adults with disabilities", "independence" and "employment first" are all terms saturating the field right now surrounding this enforcement action by the DOJ.

So what about BeauVita? The parent-governed Board of BeauVita already knew. That's part of why they founded BeauVita ten years ago. They get it. BeauVita is a leader and a model for others who need to tighten up their operations and comply. BeauVita is ready. In fact, BeauVita is on the move!

Now BeauVita is planning to enter into a phase of major expansion in 2015! Residential services, education, employment and a second Day Center are all on the radar for the Board, Executive Director and BeauVita staff.

So BeauVita is excited to announce details of Its annual fundraising event: Viva! BeauVita! - the annual effort to keep BeauVita operating with high quality, Non-profit 2.0 management, and innovative ideas for inclusion and expansion.

This annual event is where you come in! This is how you can be a key part of the success and leadership that BeauVita fosters. This event is how you can claim your role in the history of such a success.

The festivities will take place at Cincinnati's iconic Music Hall on Saturday, March 28, 2015, from 7pm until midnight.

Bob Herzog from Local Channel 12 WKRC will be host and auctioneer. Can BeauVita & attendees get him to sing and dance with the band of the night: Second Wind? BeauVita's main entertainment, Second Wind, is a horn-charged rock and soul band that is going to energize the crowd and rock the dance floor.

Danielle Adams, soprano, who recently debuted with the Cincinnati Opera Chorus in their 2014 production of Carmen, will open the event. And BeauVita has very special, surprise entertainment planned that will be remembered for years to come.

Of course, there will be food, drinks and dessert. Participants of the BeauVita West Day Program will make presentations and offer samplings of their "Easy Recipes" prepared at the event from their upcoming cookbook release: "Cooking with BeauVita".  Participants gathered, compiled, typed and cooked these recipes to make certain adults with DD/ID could make them at home with ease. (They even grew and used some of their own vegetables for some recipes through the BeauVita West Garden Club)

BeauVita's first-ever, recently hired Executive Director, Jason Lee Overbey, will be making some special announcements and invite party attendees to join him. The labor that BeauVita aspires to do can be shared by everyone this night. Anticipation and energy will be the rule of the evening.

With thrilling auction offerings, exciting silent auction items, and BeauVita's famous seriously-packed baskets up for raffle - along with stellar entertainment and the opportunity to network with some big names in the area - Viva! BeauVita! will be THE non-profit event of the season. There is no way you can let yourself miss this or not play a part in the dream.

Readers are encouraged to email the event coordinator, Becky Betsch, at: becky@beauvita.org to get information on reservations and news.

Or, call Jason Lee Overbey, Executive Director, at 513-834-9698. You can participate by attending, by making a cash donation, or by donating an item for auction or raffle. Business owners & operators are invited to sponsor the Viva! BeauVita! event - a powerful way to reach over 500 people active in the non-profit community who attend the event, and to be featured on the BeauVita website, program, certain press releases and social media sites.
