The Earth Company's Cotton Pouf Adds Style, Eco-Friendly Approach to Home Décor

Eco-friendly home décor manufacturer The Earth Company has announced the release of a new line of poufs that will add a lively visual element to any room in the house. The Earth Company said they're poufs are reflection of the company's desire to offer consumers a handmade, stylish product.

They’re as kind to the environment as they are beautiful to the eyes.

“Our goal with our new cotton poufs add a touch of whimsy to a homeowner’s décor,” they said. “Our poufs are delightfully chic, they’re handcrafted and they have the ability to transform a room from a drab haunt to a space with a life all its own.”

"We've never been the kind of company that wants to follow the status quo. Once you see our new Anaranda pouf, you'll know why,"

The most striking element of the new poufs are their four different colors. Perhaps the most striking color is Anaranda red, a vibrant rogue hue that outshines plain colors like black or beige that are usually chosen for poufs. Each pouf contains a main cushion core that is wrapped in a hand-knotted cotton webbing which features lighter versions of red.

The contrast between the deep, brilliant Anaranda red of the inner core against the lighter shades of its surrounding webbing is part of the pouf’s allure, The Earth Company representative said.

“We’ve never been the kind of company that wants to follow the status quo. Once you see our new Anaranda pouf, you’ll know why,” the representative said. “The color combination is as unforgettable as it is beautiful.”

The three other colors featured in the new line of The Earth Company poufs are Neeladari blue, Tulsi green and an ivory pouf made from wool.

Each pouf’s color is indicative of some of the company’s favorite regions in the world, including Indonesia and India.

Yet The Earth Company’s founders say that their international affections are just part of the company’s inspiration to produce handcrafted, natural products.

“Our products are the and we donate a portion of our profits to charities involved in environmental preservation and protection,” The Earth Company representative said. “Our products are sustainable, premium and down to earth.”

One percent of each purchase is donated to the international charity One Percent for the Planet, whose collective contributions have been able to give more than 100 million dollars in donations to more than 3,300 nonprofits around the world.

“Our commitment to quality products goes hand in hand with our desire to help sustain our environment through our donations to One Percent for the Planet,” the company’s representative said. “We’re proud to partner with them to make our world a truly better place.”

Each of the four different poufs from The Earth Company measure 20 inches by 20 inches by 14 inches and can be used as end tables, footstools or impromptu seating.

The ivory wool pouf can be purchased on The Earth Company website for $429. The colored cotton poufs can be purchased for $529. The poufs are also available for purchase on Amazon.com.
