Thanyapura Announces Packaged Calendar of Action-Filled Sporting Events for Second Half of 2015
Thanyapura Phuket, Asia's premier sports training, lifestyle and education institution, has been highlighted by a series of events to top off the year, beginning with the TRI Super Camp in August, and finishing offr with a colour fun run.
Phuket, Thailand, August 27, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Thanyapura Phuket's standing as Asia's premier sports training, lifestyle and education institution has been highlighted by a series of blue ribbon events to top off the year, beginning with the infamous 2015 TRI Super Camp in August, and finishing off the year with a fun-filled colour fun run that will see you get doused in coloured powder while you run.
Mr Philipp Graf von Hardenberg, Thanyapura President and Chief Executive Officer, said the sporting events showcased a trifecta of Thanyapura's core strengths triathlon, swimming and running as well as its cutting-edge facilities and world-class coaches, which has attracted scores of professional and amateur athletes.

First up on the exciting and busy schedule is the TRI Super Camp, which runs from 22-30 August. The camp gives people the opportunity to live, breath and sleep triathlon, and is centered on an intense training focus.
Later in the year, the Thanyapura SUPERKIDZ Aquathlon and Anyman Aquathlon 2015 will kick off the school year with a range of race distances and formats for all ages and fitness levels. The fun-filled event will be staged on September 5.
Get adventurous and trek or run through the jungle in the 8km Thanyapura King of the Mountain Run. The unique, fun, endurance 8km trail run zigzags through jungle trails and over streams. It will be held on 24 October, and poses the question: Are you tough enough to be king of mountain?
Sprint to the start line of the Rocket Science Sports Super Sprint Swim Meet. The inaugural event, which is focused on getting children to develop their swimming, will run from 30 October till 1 November in cooperation with Rocket Science Sports. The event is centered on getting children to focus on starts, turns and quick-skill development. It is open for all clubs in the Asia Pacific region.
Just two weeks later, hundreds of riders will cycle through lush jungles, around scenic roads and along exotic coastlines, in 40km and 90km races, in the Phuket Classic Cycling Race on 14 November.
While the adults enjoy the tough terrain of the cycling race, the children will be able to get out and about in the Thanyapura Junior Challenge Triathlon 2015 on 28 November. The event will deliver an exciting race atmosphere at a world-class venue for six to 18-year-olds. Junior: swim 50m + bike 3km + run 500m; intermediate: swim 150m + bike 6km + run 1,500m; senior: swim 300m + bike12km + run 3000m.
We are ending the year on a high note here at Thanyapura, with a fun-filled sporting event. Paint the town yellow at Thanyapura's Colour Fun Run for the King on December 12. The event, which is dedicated to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the Father of the Thai Nation, combines sports, family fun, food and entertainment for families with children.
