Stand With Folds of Honor and Compete Against Golf's Biggest Stars in the Inaugural Patriot Golf Championship

​Folds of Honor today announced the inaugural Patriot Golf Championship – a national event that gives golfers the opportunity to compete against the game’s biggest stars including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler, Paula Creamer and many more.

Starting May 1, golfers can play a round of golf at any course and register for the competition at www.patriotgolfchampionship.com with a $21 entry fee. Golfers that post a net score that is lower than or ties the score of the professional golfer they selected to compete against will earn the title of Patriot Golf Champion.

At the time of registration, golfers can also make a donation to Folds of Honor and support its mission to provide educational scholarships to families of military men and women who have fallen or been disabled in combat while serving in the United States armed forces.

After registering and playing a round of golf on the course of their choice, golfers post their net scores and choose to compete against a participating professional golfer. The scores of the professional golfers participating in the Patriot Golf Championship will be revealed to the public during a live Memorial Day telecast at 2 p.m. CT on FOX Sports 1.

  • PGA TOUR players: Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson, Hunter Mahan, Matt Kuchar, Keegan Bradley, Gary Woodland and Zach Johnson
     
  • LPGA Tour players: Paula Creamer, Lexi Thompson, Cheyenne Woods and Nancy Lopez
     
  • Champions Tour players: Tom Lehman, Craig Stadler, Ken Duke, Tom Pernice Jr. and FOX Sports golf analysts Corey Pavin and Brad Faxon.

HOW TO PLAY IN THE PATRIOT GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP:

-  The Patriot Golf Championship opens May 1 and concludes on Memorial Day, May 25.

-  Golfers enter by registering at www.patriotgolfchampionship.com with a $21 entry fee, America’s 21-gun salute. Competitors can play a round of golf at any course and post their net score to the event website before 1 p.m. CT on Memorial Day.

-  Upon entry, each participant will select one player from the field of professional golfers to compete against. The net score of each participant will be compared to the score of the professional golfer they selected.

The field of professional golfers will play their Patriot Golf Championship rounds between May 1 and May 25. These professional scores will be revealed on Memorial Day during a live national telecast on Fox Sports 1 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. CT. The telecast will be hosted from the Patriot Golf Club, Folds of Honor’s headquarters in Owasso, Okla.

-  Golfers that post a net score that is lower than or ties the score of the professional golfer they selected to compete against will be designated a Patriot Golf Champion and awarded a commemorative champion bag tag. Other participants will receive a commemorative competitor bag tag.

  • At the time of registration, you can make a donation to Folds of Honor. The Registration/Entry Fees are not tax deductible, but any payments made in excess of the Registration Fees will go to Folds of Honor and will be treated as tax deductible donations.  Those providing such donations will receive tax documentation from Folds of Honor.  Folds of Honor will receive a minimum of $50,000 from the donations and revenues in connection with the Patriot Golf Championship.
