'SMART GREEN' Summit and Awards 2015 - 2nd December, Taj Palace, New Delhi

ET Edge, the conferences arm of The Economic Times, in partnership with Saint Gobain is organizing Smart Green Summit & Awards 2015. Multi-Comfort, is an underlying theme in the scheme of a sustainable habitat and will be the main theme during the Smart Green Summit.

The summit focuses on bringing to lime light, the innovative initiatives in the area of Sustainable Habitat by recognizing the people or organizations behind them. The event is a one of a kind platform that brings together all the stakeholders in the building and construction industry under one roof - the government, architects, builders, corporate houses and thought leaders and industry bodies who have worked or are contributing to a sustainable habitat through innovation and enormous effort.

The exhibition at the Smart Green Summit will see multiple zones demarcated for exhibitors looking to showcase the latest and greatest in the sphere of sustainable innovation. The 1st zone will see the history of Saint Gobain showcased for all, while the 2nd zone will see booths setups for businesses to explain their solutions. There will be one each for Glass, Gyproc, Abrasives, Performance Plastics, Sekurit, SEPR, Weber, Adfors + Certainteed + PAM). The 3rd zone is a common Multi comfort zone that explains the Saint Gobain habitat strategy and the solutions it offers in this space, while the 4th zone will see partner stalls set up in addition to a maximum of 6 HIC winners displaying their projects through posters.

The opening keynote of the summit will be addressed by J. Mayer (Founder & Principal Architect, J. Mayer H. Architects). He will talk about how modern architecture is trying to deliver acoustic comfort, thermal comfort, and visual comfort in a sustainable way through innovative design. Other imminent guests at this event will be Mr. Babul Supriyo (Minister of State for Urban Development, New Delhi), Rahul Kumar (Chief Architect, RKA), Navin Raheja (MD&CEO, Raheja Developers) and international speakers Dr. Nigel Oseland (Strategist, Workplace Unlimited) and James Edwards (Partner, Foster+Partners).
