Shia Wisdom Condemns the Terrorist Attacks in Paris
Earlier today Shia Wisdom published a post and condemned the terrorist attacks in Paris. Shia Wisdom called the terrorists act "cowardly", "inhumane", and "un-Islamic" citing that Islam does not promote or allow any form of terrorism.
Laguna Hills, January 7, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Shia Wisdom distanced itself from the French magazine and its insults towards prophet of Islam and Muslim figures, but strongly condemned the actions of terrorists. According to Shia Wisdom, terrorists acted on their own and actions were not justified and were indeed against Islam and Islamic teachings.
“We don’t support or condone the satirical work and insults of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo but there are much better and more civilized ways to address such issues” said Ali Reza, the webmaster and junior writer of the website.
“Human rights and human dignity are highly valued in Islamic teachings. Quran and teachings and traditions of prophet do not allow taking lifeoutside justice even if they disagree with you and insult you and your religion. It is very sad that there are so many misguided people out there committing all sort of crimes in the name of Islam. We really hope they find these criminals and bring them to full justice.”
