Shatterdome Atlanta Announces Special Guest
Tales from Year Zero Artist Geoff Shaw added
ATLANTA, GA, May 11, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Shatterdome Atlanta is excited to announce the addition of Pacific Rim: Tales from Year Zero illustrator, Geoff Shaw, to its guest roster.
Mr. Shaw holds a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico and a Masters degree in Sequential Art from The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). While enrolled at SCAD, he worked on several professional projects including: the Batman annual 2011 and Grim Fairy Tales Hook #5. After placing in the Walt Disney Imaginations’ competition, he relocated to Los Angeles for an internship. After a nine-month stint at Imagineering working on projects ranging from concept design to line art for Disney’s mobile app comic “Habit Heroes”, he left to pursue work in comics. His credits include; pencil art for Pacific Rim: Tales from Year Zero, line art on the four issue mini-series ‘Buzzkill’ with writer Donny Cates, and line art for A Town Called Dragon for Legendary Comics.
