RYDE Is Official Transportation Partner of Gentlemen of the Road Stopover Tours

Upscale Motorcoaches Provide Safe, Convenient, Environmentally-Friendly Rideshare Alternative

RYDE, a crowdsourcing rideshare transportation company, has been chosen as the official distance shuttle transportation partner for Gentlemen of the Road (GOTR) Stopover tours produced by Madison House Presents. The partnership serves to enhance the fan experience by offering a fun rideshare opportunity while reducing attendance travel hurdles often associated with multi-day live events. RYDE’s upscale motorcoaches take the hassle out of planning carpools, sitting in traffic, parking, and being the designated driver for a fun-filled music festival weekend. This alternative transportation option supports the goals of the festival to enable more people to get safely and affordably to the event while maximizing the fun in an environmentally conscious manner. The Stopovers, headlined by Mumford and Sons and featuring bands such as Alabama Shakes, Foo Fighters, the Flaming Lips, and Jenny Lewis, will take place in Seaside Heights, NJ, Waverly, IA, Walla Walla, WA, and Salida, CO.

“Madison House Presents produces awesome festivals, and the Gentlemen of the Road Stopover tours have created an epic weekend of musical talent,” said Brian Allman, CEO of RYDE. “The idea of ridesharing in RYDE’s motorcoaches is a perfect transportation solution for this event as the fun does not need to be scaled back traveling to and from the festival, and RYDE provides a safe, affordable, convenient way to travel with other GOTR fans. Passengers can easily sign up by themselves or with a bunch of friends, and instantly reduce the hassle of getting to the Stopover while also meeting new people before and after the event itself.”

RYDE will provide the out-of-town shuttle for fans from cities around the northeast. RYDEs are one-way or roundtrip, and will pick up passengers Friday morning and will depart at the festival’s end on Sunday to return to the pick-up locations. GOTR fans reserve seats via RYDE’s website for a roundtrip or one-way shuttle that picks them up from numerous cities around the event and brings them straight to the festival.
