Retro Music Festival Brings Fans to Westchester County, NY
Festival producers invite music celebrities from the 70's, 80's & 90's to Yorktown Heights, NY to lend their musical support in the fight against cancer.
New York, NY, October 9, 2015 (Newswire.com) - August 5th - 7th marks the first inaugural Era 2 Era music festival called "HOME - The History of Me." The three day event will be hosted in Yorktown Heights, NY at the Yorktown Sports Complex - Navajo Fields. It will feature noted tribute bands as well as original music artists from the 70's, 80's & 90's. The final day will showcase top 40 music representing bands from the turn of the century. The era to era weekend is an opportunity for everyone to revisit the best parts of memory lane and to also band together to show their support towards the fight against cancer.
The H.O.ME Festival opens its gates at 12pm – 10pm each day. The recommendation to attend the HOME Festival is to come dressed in attire representative of a specific decade.

Friday’s theme is about "Peace" and it invites fans of Folk music, Alternative, Reggae and Classic Rock to journey throughout the festival grounds in a Coachella-esque environment. Hula hoop entertainers, glovers, sculptors, painters and other artistic individuals will enjoy multiple music stages, a food & merchandise vendor village complete with spas, hair salons and hammock resting areas, an overnight campground and carnival rides to keep them busy throughout their stay.
The second day's theme of "Love" will place globally recognized Pop, Blues, Rap & Classic Rock artists from the 70's, 80’s & 90's on the three main stages. There is also a roller skating rink, a twenty one & over beer garden complete with a variety of drinking games and activities, a recreated NYC studio 54 club and a retro arcade structure where video game tournaments will take place.
The final day's theme of "Happiness" is a culmination of the first two festival days and an ushering into the turn of the century with popular R&B, Rock, Pop & EDM DJs to close out the weekend.
Though HOME is not a fundraising event, cancer charities and other supporting organizations will be on site to offer literature and conversations about alternative things related to making change. This festival is an 18 and over event. Tickets begin at $80 for early bird access which can only be purchased online at the officiallyhome site. There will not be any at-the-door purchases.
