Reham Khan formally announced today that Divorce papers have been signed.

She states the reason for a relationship breakdown is exactly that:
"A breakdown in the relationship.
With a heavy heart we both decided, before I left for England, that it was best to part ways so our work commitments were not affected by our personal problems.
Zulfiqar Bokhari is a dear friend & like a brother to me. As per all our well-wishers, he found it difficult to come to terms with the news. The rumours of any agreement of a financial settlement are false.
It is unfortunate & condemnable that some have been indulging in unbecoming behaviour and language.”
In response to some of the allegations she said:
“The accusation of any physical violence is not only pure fiction but ludicrous.”
“The claims of anyone poisoning Imran Khan are complete fabrication.”
Reham’s announcement advocates she has no desire to drag out the process. Divorce is incredibly personal and really only a matter for the family involved.
Reham will continue to be involved in work supporting charitable causes; particularly relating to child abuse and woman sufferers of abuse. Her passion as a recognised ambassador for overseas Pakistanis who have strived in an array of fields including: sports, media, fashion and business, remains as strong as ever and she will continue to highlight and back.

As per Imran Khan’s tweet “This is a painful time for me & Reham & our families. I would request everyone to respect our privacy”. Reham ends this announcement by saying.
“Divorce is a painful experience & we would appreciate sensitivity & understanding from all for both of us and our children at this difficult time. A malicious campaign against me and my children for over a year has driven us to this decision. I hope that now my children and I will be left alone to rebuild our lives.”
