RBTK Gives Back to San Diego
4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Raises Over $13,000
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA, June 22, 2015 (Newswire.com) - On Thursday, May 21, local CPA firm RBTK hosted its 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Rancho Bernardo Inn’s 18-hole California Championship Golf Course. The event raised over $13,000 to benefit The Rancho Family YMCA and Bayside Community Center.
Not only did guests participate in a fun day of golfing, but they were also invited to partake putting and hole-in-one competitions. Guests kicked back for a reception and awards ceremony held at one of the inns gorgeous terraces and banquet halls overlooking the course with a catered buffet-style dinner and some tasty deserts.
A raffle was held throughout the day, which included prizes such as Disneyland tickets, wine tasting, massages, and many others. During the dinner and awards ceremony winners were announced and claimed their prizes. RBTK Managing Partner Kevin Brown enticed guests with live auction items that included a family getaway to Deer Valley, Del Mar VIP season passes, and a San Diego VIP golf tour.
With the combination of raffle tickets sold, silent and live auction items, as well as entry fees, RBTK is able to donate $13,000 to help two local charities. This money will directly benefit the San Diego community to help those in need.
The Rancho Family YMCA is a community-centered non-profit organization that promotes youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Y fosters a safe environment for people of all ages and backgrounds to encourage social change and growth.
The Bayside Community Center, located in Linda Vista, serves over 300 low-income community members each day, providing food and financial assistance as well as educational and health care programs.
