Premier Inc. & Co. Supports York Township Food Pantry
An elite group from Premier Inc. & Co. will be assisting at the York Township Food Pantry. The director discussed the importance of philanthropy to the organization and the many benefits it provides both the community and the firm.
Lombard, IL, September 2, 2015 (Newswire.com) - This month, a select group of people from Premier Inc. & Co. will be volunteering at the York Township Food Pantry. “I’m extremely excited to be working with Mital and Jessica to help hungry people in and around the Lombard area,” the firm’s director of operations stated. “Philanthropy is one of the pillars of our culture here at Premier Inc. & Co., and supporting worthy causes like the food pantry is one of the ways we live out our values and establish ourselves as leaders in the community.”
The York Township Food Pantry serves a wide area, including Grove, Elmhurst, parts of Glen Ellyn, parts of Hinsdale, most of Lombard, Oakbrook, Oakbrook Terrace, parts of Villa Park, and parts of Westmont. In the month of July alone they helped feed 166 families, which came to 515 people. “The crew at the food pantry does amazing work, and we’re honored to be a part of it. While the holidays are definitely their busiest time of year, and I’d love to help out again during those months, there’s no better time than the present to get involved,” the director said.
