Arkansas Oncologist Collaborated On Research Of Targeted Breast Cancer Treatment

The research, entitled “Development and Clinical Application of a Gene Expression Signature That Enriches for Response to LCL161, an Antagonist of Inhibitor of Apoptosis Proteins, in Patients With Triple-negative Breast Cancer,” focuses on a targeted treatment option for specific breast cancers.
About 231,840 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women in the United States in 2015, according to American Cancer Society estimates.
