In the esteemed tradition of iconic films such the Godfather, Black Caesar and GoodFellas, comes a tale of family, trust, honor and betrayal with an exciting twist; this new age gangster classic is about the mob's first African-American Don.

"We were very fortunate to have Mel Novak (Black Belt Jones, Tom Horn) work with us. Joe Estevez (The Roller Blade Seven, Horrorween) added serious quality to the film and Shawn C. Phillips (Ghost Shark, Haunted High) in the cast was like frosting on a delicious cake. You add those Hollywood pros with a cast of actors on the rise and the result is just amazing. The audience is going to love this."

William Lee, Award-winning Filmmaker

Lee also drew some ideas from Pulp Fiction and even earlier movies including Cotton Comes to Harlem and It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. “We beefed up the cast with some amazing talent,” said Lee.

Bad Fellaz is an action comedy centered on laundered drug money and how a few plumbers from tried to keep it from a number of other less than honest folks. “We have it all, says Lee with a smile. “Plumbers with puns, nuns with guns, shady landlords, girlfriends with attitudes, and Russians infiltrating the sewer system of Brooklyn. Just when you think you seen all the cast, a new bunch of characters show up. Things keep happening,” added Lee.

Novak is best known for playing the most evils villains such as his trademark role as Mr. Stick in this production, which is a reference to the iconic “Stick” character he portrayed in Bruce Lee’s Game of Death. Past villains he’s portrayed have been icons in their own right having beat up Steve McQueen in Tom Horn, almost killing Jim Kelly in Black Belt Jones, almost torching Yul Brenner in The Ultimate Warrior, going up against Chuck Norris and Christopher Lee in An Eye for an Eye and starring opposite Dan Aykroyd and Rosie O’Donnell in Exit to Eden. His first villainous appearance was as a Nazi in the Jerry Lewis film Which Way To The Front. More recently, in the much buzzed about Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance, he teamed up as another baddie with the sultry Bai Ling against Laurene Landon's tough, no-nonsense detective character (Maniac Cop 1 & 2). He also stars in multiple award-winning filmmaker Thomas J. Churchill’s timely upcoming ensemble film Checkpoint opposite William Forsythe, Bill Goldberg, Kenny Johnson and many others.

As opposed to the bad guys he portrays, Novak is a true and inspiring hero in real life. Over the past three decades, he has done so much volunteer work with the homeless, he’s referred to as the  Honorary Mayor of Skid Row. Additionally, this talented and giving performer has also volunteered at the most dangerous prisons across the country as a counselor to the prisoners to help them get their lives in order. Novak is also the recipient of numerous entertainment, civic and humanitarian awards  such The Golden Halo Award presented by The Southern California Motion Picture Council, The Spirit Award presented by the Multicultural Motion Picture Association and The Golden Mask award presented by The Hollywood Appreciation Society.
