Guderup, April 30, 2015 (Newswire.com) - With the slogan ‚Design. Elevated’ LINAK presents numerous news and innovations for electric adjustment of furniture at Interzum in Cologne. By means of electric adjustment, the Danish company continues setting milestones in ergonomics and more comfort in the office, the kitchen, the living room and the bedroom.
Also this year, it is worth visiting the stand of the company. LINAK is one of the few manufacturers that not only develop mechanical components, but also develop, produce and distribute the associated electronic components. This ensures high quality and easy integration of systems, using the slogan Plug & Play.
Thanks to the electronic and software expertise, it was natural to develop a program that promotes and simplifies the use of electrically adjustable sit-stand desks. The result: the Desk Control software. It works on both Macs and Windows systems and is easy to configure. The control of the desk is connected to the computer by means of a special USB cable. The desk can be operated via the software. With Desk Control, the user is reminded to lift the desk and work alternating standing and sitting.
Last year LINAK achieved special attention with the competition ‘Design meets movement'. Students of the University of Wuppertal Faculty Industrial Design developed the workplace of the future. In Italy and in France students were assigned the same task.
The results were impressive innovative ideas and products. LINAK presents some results of the competition at the booth in Cologne. Among other things, the winning desk from France will be on display. A mobile office solution, which has caused a lot of attention, will also be displayed. In the field of industrial workstations, LINAK has adopted and developed an idea of the Wuppertal students. This concept will also be presented.
Also for the kitchen and the bedroom, LINAK presents solutions and innovations. Especially in the field kitchen, LINAK has promoted the idea of the height adjustable kitchen in recent years. With the technology from LINAK, many kitchen manufacturers bring more comfort and ergonomics in the kitchen every day. Visitors to the booth at the Interzum can see that it is also quite easy to adjust a wall-mounted kitchenette electrically with the new Baselift.
