One thing Adam always reminds himself is the importance of teaching skills instead of traits. “Essentially, you have to remember that you’re not trying to change the personality of an individual,” he noted. “You have to focus on skills that can be taught and learned. In other words, you can’t turn an introvert into an extravert, but you can teach that person to listen and speak more effectively when dealing with people.”

Another thing that Adam and the other leaders at Limitless Strategies recommend to any leader when training team members is to consistently track their progress. As he stated, “If you’re not seeing the improvement you expected, then you know something is wrong. By closely monitoring your team members’ progress, you can change course quickly if your approach doesn’t seem to be working.”
