The first edition of International Real Estate Expo (IREX) 2015 will be held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The three-day expo starting from 4th December 2015 will present international real estate investment avenues for high net worth and wealthy Individuals who are looking at investing in a property outside India. The show will have participation from leading property developers from US, UK, UAE, Singapore, Australia and Thailand who will showcase their latest property offerings. Indian residents are increasingly looking for good realty investment opportunities abroad. Due to the downturn in the Indian real estate market, investors are exploring new avenues to invest. The stability of the Indian Rupee and relaxation of RBI rules that permit Indian residents to invest overseas have further created an investment climate favourable for international real estate.
The developers from Dubai are expected to participate in huge numbers as they are now targeting the Indian market in a big way. As per the recent wealth report of a reputed London based firm, India’s high net worth individuals are heavily investing in real estate in other countries; and their numbers have grown 166% in the last 10 years. Almost 50% of all India’s UHNWI & HNI have foreign real estate in their portfolios, which is highest in the world.

Coinciding with the event, an Investment Forum is being organized which would dwell on various issues of international real estate investment. International Real Estate Experts will be presenting and analyzing the potential investment destinations while legal and financial experts will talk about the rules, regulations and financial aspects of international real estate investment for Indian residents. Country presentations and project presentations will also form part of this informative forum from where investors can gain insight to take informed investment decisions.
