Historic Building Will Open as Unique Event Venue in Centerton

The Ravington Will Open As Premier Event Venue in 2016

A historic two-story building in downtown Centerton is being renovated as a wedding, meeting, performing arts and general events venue. The Ravington is slated to open in spring, 2016.

Built in 1909, the new venue, most recently the site of Stubb’s Main Street Treasures, is located at 1st and Main Street. Eric and Amber Gustafson, of Centerton, purchased the building in September.

The Ravington will target entertainment, weddings/wedding receptions, corporate and nonprofit events. With more than 7,000 square-feet indoors, it will have capacity for up to 250 people for seated dinners plus a dance floor. An additional 2,500 square-feet will be available in a landscaped courtyard.

The Ravington will offer exclusive features including exposed brick walls, 18-foot high ceilings, chandeliers and reclaimed wood flooring. There will be private ladies' dressing rooms, six restrooms, handcrafted furniture and decor and a large catering prep area that will accommodate each client's catering preference.

High school sweethearts originally from Northwest Arkansas, the Gustafsons spent 14 years in Los Angeles where Eric worked as a musician, finish carpenter and a crafter of fine furniture. Amber founded Amber Events, an upscale wedding and event planning business, which she sold earlier this year.
