Men and women across Dallas and Fort Worth are invited to the second annual “Gunslinging for Independence” Clay Shoot on Thursday, October 22 at the Dallas Gun Club in Lewisville. Proceeds from the event benefit Helping Restore Ability, which provides care and advocacy to the area’s most vulnerable population: those who are impoverished that also live with physical or intellectual disabilities.

“The children and adults that Helping Restore Ability assists are in need of game-changers – people that are interested in impacting the lives of our neighbors, people in need of help where we live and work,” says Vicki Niedermayer, Chief Executive Officer of Helping Restore Ability. “Gunslinging for Independence provides a way to make that difference while having a great time.”

“Gunslinging for Independence” will be held at the Dallas Gun Club located at 3601 S. Stemmons Freeway in Lewisville. Check in begins at 10:00 a.m., with the competition starting at 11:00 a.m. An awards ceremony and live auction will immediately follow the shoot. All participants receive lunch, beverages, gifts and a chance to win door prizes and shooting prizes.
