Global Dream Team of Filmmakers Hits Hollywood

$48,000+ budget for selected winning filmmakers to shoot a feature film.

Winners of global online 48 FILM Project competition fly in to Hollywood to attend their annual Awards Ceremony at the Directors Guild of America in Sunset Boulevard on February 24th. This short film contest gives aspiring moviemakers worldwide a chance to rocket from obscurity to show their entry before industry professionals in the heart of Hollywood. The TOP 15 of 2014 includes participants from the USA, UK, France, Greece, Spain, Australia, Russia and Slovakia.

This year's scoop is that 48 FILM Project producers have brought the best of the winners together in a dream team to make a feature with a budget of $48,000 already in place. Pre-production is underway and shooting will commence in the autumn, with locations to be announced later in the year.

"We are deeply excited at the prospect of working with a crew drawn from so many diverse cultures. The synergy will be fantastic. No other short film contest offers such a unique opportunity to filmmakers."

Says Executive Producer Francesco Vitali, "We are deeply excited at the prospect of working with a crew drawn from so many diverse cultures. The synergy will be fantastic. No other short film contest offers such a unique opportunity to filmmakers."
