The FX Promotions management team has been working to enhance its team-building strategy following a significant team expansion. The director of operations indicated that the first step of this was a retreat for top performers.

FX Promotions’ Director of Operations Discusses Travel for Team Building
As the director of operations explained, travel has greatly helped the FX Promotions team come together. He believes that sending the firm’s branding specialists on the road regularly provides them with a perk few other companies offer. Additionally, it allows team members to get to know each other better in new contexts.
“Travel can be a highly energizing event,” he said. “It is a great way to experience new things and explore new cultures. This was particularly true for our trip to the Bahamas. However, I find that it helps to keep some routine such as exercise and healthy eating. It is also beneficial to have everything organized ahead of time.”
He indicated that many of the benefits of travel can be lost if it becomes too stressful. “That is one of the great things about company retreats – we have everything organized so our associates can spend the whole time relaxing.”
