Designer Joey Rodolfo and Tommy Bahama Part Ways

Joey Rodolfo, a sportswear designer, innovator, and entrepreneur with a 30+-year history in the fashion business, parts ways with Tommy Bahama. Rodolfo served as the SVP of Men's Design for over 10 years and was instrumental in helping to re-position the brand. Joey and his design team extended the modern island lifestyle, created the Relax division, and developed products for the international markets.

After more than 10 years as the Senior Vice President of Men’s Design, Joey Rodolfo and Tommy Bahama part ways.  Rodolfo was instrumental in propelling the brand from a “Hawaiian shirt” company to a full line lifestyle collection brand.

The founders of the company, Tony Margolis, Lucio Dalla Gasperina, and Bob Emfield, brought Joey on board in 2005.  One of Rodolfo’s first contributions to the company was the creation and development of the Relax by Tommy Bahama division, which attracted a younger customer to the brand and is now a large part of the men’s collection business.

Rodolfo's proven track record includes launching several of his own successful brands including Bench Company, Cutter & Buck, Resort Two and JR 1879.  He was also selected by US Team Captain Curtis Strange to design the prestigious 2001 Ryder Cup uniforms.

Joey Rodolfo plans to continue down his entrepreneurial path and will announce the launch a new company in the very near future.
