Minnesota residential architect, Chris Doehrmann, has been selected as one of the top 5 architects in the Marvin Windows Architects Challenge 2015 Showdown with his Thumper Pond Residence built in Ottertail, Minnesota. Modern elegance reaches rural northwest Minnesota in this home designed for a couple whose style has evolved beyond traditional details. The exterior is finished with fiber cement panels, stucco, clad windows, and a richly stained wood entry structure. Marvin windows and doors provide the perfect portal for achieving both visual and personal interaction with the home and the beautiful setting in which it resides. The timeless, contemporary expression was achieved through use of Marvin windows with retractable screens and 8' Marvin swinging and custom entry doors.
