Californians Walked Raising $55,000 And Awareness for Five Million Californians

The Hearing Loss Association of America tenth annual Walk4Hearing in Long Beach on Saturday, June 6, 2015, raised over $55,000, increasing awareness about hearing loss.

More than 500 walkers from all over California participated in the walk, raising $ 55,778.00 for hearing loss support causes.  The walk was 5 K (3.1 miles).  The Long Beach walk was one of 23 events taking place across the nation in 2015.  In addition to raising awareness, Walk4Hearing raises funds that are used in local communities.  Since its inception in 2006, the Walk4Hearing has raised more than $9 million nationwide.
