Bright Knight Gel Pens Modify Its Wrapping Following Customer Suggestions.

Den of Goods takes its responsibilities seriously when it comes to customer feedback.  The site has dedicated customer service staff carrying out daily monitoring all comments on its products on Amazon to ensure that any problems are picked up quickly and solved to the customer's satisfaction.

With that in mind, the company has been receiving feedback saying that gel pens had been arriving damaged; the company has acknowledged there was a problem recently as mentioned by their customers:

"Box damaged and it was a gift. I had to buy a pencil case as box was not fit to give as a gift. Pens all fine though and bright colours and fine tips ideal for ten year old niece."

"The delivery was quick. However the box was damaged and one of the pens was missing."

"Really good selection. Box a little flimsy though."

Company spokesperson Jonathan Campbell said: "We take our responsibilities very seriously and will respond to all customer feedback, good and bad.  We hope that by doing so, our customers will then comment on how well we have responded.  In the light of the comments above, we knew that the boxes were being damaged during shipping and so carried out some research into how we could initiate a change for the better in the packaging to improve this.  It is just not acceptable to us that our customers receive broken or missing pens from their sets.  We immediately send out a replacement for any sets customers are not happy with but we have also taken steps to rectify this problem of damage to the packaging."

The company has just initiated a change on the box that the gel pens come in.  The outer cardboard box is now more rigid with corrugated cardboard rather than single thin cardboard which covered the plastic container the gels were boxed in. The company is now hoping that its star rating on Amazon will start to improve from its current 4.6 out of 5 stars.
