Scarlett Johansson’s directorial debut, Summer Crossing, looks to be picking up steam with production company Aldamisa launching sales at EFM.

The project, first announced in Cannes last May, is an adaptation of Truman Capote's long-lost novel of the same name, which follows a 17-year-old debutante who, during the summer of 1945, skips a Parisian trip with her parents to build a relationship with a valet attendant.

Stacey Sher has come on board to produce along with Barry Spikings. Aldamisa co-chairmanSergei Bespalov and Tessela Production’s Oleg Boyko will also produce, with Peter Graves, Jason Van Eman and Ben McConley executive producing.

The film is scheduled to shoot in New York City later this year. CAA is handling U.S rights.
