Bad Daddy's Partners with Fortnight Brewing and Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina for Burgers & Brews
A portion of proceeds from the four-course dinner will benefit local nonprofit
Morrisville, N.C., April 13, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is partnering with Fortnight Brewing for an evening of burgers and beer to benefit Make-A-Wish® Eastern North Carolina, the local chapter of the non-profit which grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions, April 21 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event will be held at Bad Daddy’s Morrisville location in Park West Village.
Bad Daddy’s chefs will prepare a four-course meal specially designed to pair with four local beers from Fortnight Brewing. The dinner will cost $40 and will include the following menu items:
FIRST COURSE
Bacon-Wrapped Blue Cheese Stuffed Dates
Paired with Fortnight ESB
SECOND COURSE
Spinach Salad with White Balsamic Dressing, Local Farmers Market Strawberries and Feta Cheese
Paired with Fortnight Blond Ale
THIRD COURSE
Bad Daddy Burger with IPA Braised Onion and Bacon Compote, Raclette and Comte Cheese and a Mustard Aioli. Served with Truffle Ships and a Truffle French Onion Dip.

Housemade Bacon Maple Donut
Paired with Fortnight Coffee Amber
“We’re really excited to host our first Burgers and Brews dinner at this location,” said Dave Richards, general manager of the Morrisville Bad Daddy’s. “It’s very important to us to keep things local and support the Triangle community. Fortnight Brewing and Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina are our neighbors just down the road so partnering with them for this dinner made perfect sense. ”
A portion of proceeds from the night will go directly to Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina, the local chapter of Make-A-Wish headquartered in Morrisville which covers 49 counties in Eastern North Carolina from the Alamance/Orange County line to the coast. Since its founding in 1986, Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina has granted more than 2,900 wishes to terminally ill children ages 2.5 to 18 years old.
