Aguilar Y Salas Closes an Order of 6 Million Euros
The equipment consists of Block in Kettle heat-exchangers and Drums that will go to the construction of new gas liquefaction plants of an international German company in the United States.
Barcelona, November 4, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Aguilar y Salas, specialized in the design and construction of equipment for the chemical, oil & gas, fertilizers and energy industries announces that has obtained an order valued in 6 million euros, with an option of 4 million more in the first half of 2016, from an international German company. The equipment consists in Block in Kettle heat-exchangers and Drums tanks that will be used in the liquefaction processes of a new company’s plants around the North American country.
The equipment is being manufactured at the Aguilar y Salas’ production plant located in Pla de Llerona in Les Franqueses del Vallés, and in the workshop that the company has in the Port of Barcelona. The production process is divided into three phases or assembly trains based in liquefaction technology processes. The different Block in Kettles that build Aguilar y Salas S.A. are made of special materials such as stainless steels, low-temperature resistant and metals like aluminum.
The United States currently produces about 8% of the annual production of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas). In recent years have been launched up to 13 gas liquefaction projects nationwide. According to recent studies, by 2020 is estimated that the United States could reach more than 70 billion cubic meters, according to Goldman Sachs prevision.
