AeroGroup Incorporated is acquired by AGD SYSTEMS CORPORATION, an emerging international company focused on commercial and governmental services in the aerospace transportation sector.
Boca Raton, Florida, May 8, 2015 (Newswire.com) - The acquisition of AeroGroup will include assets and contracts with an exceptional past performance and a history of “Firsts” in the commercialization of F-16 pilot training and operations. As part of the AGD Systems acquisition, AeroGroup’s CEO, Mark Daniels will be appointed to the position of CEO at AGD Systems. Mark Daniels was quoted saying, “I am looking forward to this new direction and opportunity with AGD, as AeroGroup's previous history and accomplishments will expand AGD’s capabilities in pursuing emerging aerospace opportunities in commercially supported government programs”, said Daniels.
The transaction will provide AGD Systems with expertise in military contracts (Foreign Military Sales) pilot training, maintenance training and operation of tactical aircraft. AGD will expand aerospace business opportunities to include specialized cargo transportation and aerial refueling services in support of U.S. and NATO military purposes.
