A Desert Rose : A Single Take Cinematic Journey

'A Desert Rose' is a feature film in development. It follows an old woman painter in the middle of the Desert who is truck by lightning and through it is able to see 'visions' of her past, present and future all at once. Based on the last few years of painter Georgia O'Keefe's life in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It stars LA based couture fashion designer Stella Dottir in the principal role.

‘A Desert Rose’ is a single take film experience in development. It is the last film in the Dreams, Delusions and Hallucinations trilogy by Director Han Rhyu and Sens Productions, an independent film production company based in Los Angeles and New York. The film is to be shot in the Valley of Fire in Nevada. It follows an old woman painter in the middle of the Desert who is struck by lightning and through it is able to see 'visions' of her past, present and future all at once. Based on the last few years of painter Georgia O'Keefe's life in Santa Fe, New Mexico and inspired by the writings and discoveries of the late Oliver Sacks and Mircea Eliade and inspired by various Land Art Projects in the American West, the film will star LA based couture fashion designer Stella Dottir in the principal role as the Painter.
