October 12, 2012 (Newswire) - Dr. Dee Stephenson of Stephenson Eye Associates in Venice, Florida, recently presented a paper, educational video and displays at the 2012 XXX Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS). Approximately 8,000 surgeons from around the world attended the medical conference held in Milan, Italy, on September 8-12, 2012.
Dr. Stephenson was invited by the Society to be a guest speaker for the "Challenging Cases" segment of the video symposium, and her topic focused on complicated cataract and wavefront aberrometry. She spoke on ways to improve clinical outcomes by utilizing new Optiwave Refractive Analysis technology, known as ORA Systems, which provides real time measurements of a patient's eye during surgery.
