Sit-N-Get Helps Users Find the Right Technology to Suit Their Needs

New site offers insight and deals on technology

New technology advice site Sit-n-Get gives users access to the latest information about technology while also helping them find deals on useful products.

Founder Steven Izard, a U.S. Army veteran who recently retired after 31 years with Bank of America, said he started the business as both a way to make to support himself after retirement—he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which can have costly treatments in 1996—and to share information about emerging technology.

"This is going to be a great new experience for me. I'm looking forward to learning and collaborating with other people who are passionate about technology."

One recent post looked at 3D printing, perhaps the hottest technology to emerge over the past several years.

“Now you can learn everything you need to know about the latest rising technology of 3D printing,” he wrote. “I know that this process is really branching out in the educational systems here in the Midwest, and Lewis & Clark Community College is offering and promoting education classes on 3D Printing.”

Another recent post examined the best way to find computer hardware and accessories.

“You might be looking for cables and adapters, networking items, screen and speaker mounts and anything else you could need to keep your professional space fully organized and ready for action,” he wrote. “It’s all the little things that add up to make a big picture. For example, an office or home lacking an effective cable management system is constantly dealing with tangles and endless hassle when it comes time to sort through it all. Navepoint has got customers  covered with the biggest selection on the web, and amazing prices to match.”
