New Van Ensures Ningbo Get a 'sprint' on

A Cheshire furniture company has expanded its stock lines to meet increased productivity demand.

Office furniture company Ningbo is expanding rapidly. The company is moving into selling office furniture and has already signed contracts for the new line. They hope to begin marketing the new products as early as June.

Ningbo's managing director Chris Stockton sealed the deal earlier this year.
He said it is an exciting move for Ningbo and the company believe it is an important area of growth.

The supplying of furniture can be seasonal with cafes buying tables and chairs at certain times of the year.

The move into office furniture is seen as an important diversification and a way to keep ahead of competitors.
A new website is also about to be launched in France. The new e commerce site will mean people can place orders directly over the internet. Alternatively, they can continue to telephone to buy products.

The company's headquarters are located in England but there is a storage location in the Pas de Calais which allows the firm to realise their deliveries as soon as possible.

In addition, back in the UK Ningbo has bought a brand new Mercedes sprinter van to get customer orders out even quicker.

The van can take up to 200 chairs and was purchased so the company can respond to "short notice orders" and turn them around quickly.

Explained General Manager Bert Taylor: "We now have the flexibility to respond to orders at short notice which is great news for customers".

The van has already been out and about.
There are also new product lines about to be introduced for use in restaurants and cafes.
