Nationally Renowned Non-Profit Advances From Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Altus Dynamics and Microsoft Solution Helps Build Long Lasting Relationships That Help Children and Youth Reach Their Full Potential

Altus Dynamics announces today that Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada (BBBSC) successfully completed their implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM with Altus Dynamics. Microsoft Dynamics CRM was implemented as a Canada-wide case management system across 132 different Big Brother Big Sister Agencies.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM was selected following a thorough market evaluation process of case management solutions for the non-profit sector. During the search for a case management solution, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada identified a number of critical requirements. At the top of the list was the option for system customization and to ensure the system was an accurate representation of their business processes. With the help of Altus Dynamics, Microsoft Gold Partner and Microsoft Dynamics CRM implementer to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, they were able to find a true solution and partner match to their search.

"We are extremely pleased that Altus was able to achieve our objectives of finding a solution to fit our business with the advanced technology capabilities our agencies needed. We are excited that with our new system, the administrative components related to matching our volunteers with our children and youth are simplified, which in turns allows our case workers to focus on what's most important - building a long lasting relationship that will help children and youth reach their full potential" says Malcolm McCauley, Project Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters.

When Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada committed to using the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform, priority was given to finding a partner that had a strong foundational understanding of what the non-profit world looked like. "We needed an implementing partner that could identify with our values, and could be sensitive to the unique needs of our movement. Altus Dynamics fulfilled our needs perfectly. It was clear from the start that we would not only be a valued customer whose needs would come first, but that they were willing to work diligently to understand the nature of our business. They were prepared to offer a variety of solutions to potentially problematic scenarios, and made us feel like every question we asked was our first." explains Malcolm.

The commitment made by Altus to meet the needs of Big Brothers Big Sisters' requirements was a pivotal factor in the success of the implementation. The hands-on support provided was second to none as Altus stayed on course with all the possible criteria and decisions needed to ensure a successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Throughout the implementation process Altus continued to demonstrate an understanding of the language and tools required within the system. A number of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada team members from across the country were engaged and key contributors to the success of this CRM project; Altus' flexibility to work with a number of individuals and teams throughout the fluid process is one of the driving forces behind their system being where it is today.

"We are pleased with our partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada. Our services and solution goals were to provide a solution that enabled their case workers to focus on what's most important - building a long lasting relationship that will help the child or youth reach their full potential. We are very proud of what our customers do and are most proud when we can help achieve their mission." says Craig Kasperski, CRM Lead at Altus Dynamics.

Along with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada's implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Business Productivity Online Suite http://www.microsoft.com/online/business-productivity.aspx (BPOS) was also deployed. The BPOS solution allowed BBBSC to consolidate all of the agencies onto a single Active Directory model (with Microsoft Outlook Exchange) enabling them to leverage mobile technologies. Before implementing BPOS, the national office did not have any insight into agency employee's calendars making it difficult to schedule meetings. They now have a central location to manage the users email system and delivery, along with Microsoft Dynamics CRM as their case management system. The productivity gains and efficiency in managing the Microsoft exchange users meant the employees worked from on a unified email platform - Microsoft Outlook.
