National Debit Card Network understands the power of social media and has a strong presence on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, and several other social media channels and blogs.
The idea behind moving National Debit Card Network to these social media channels was to better reach small business owners throughout North America and provide them with useful information, helpful advice for small businesses, interesting photos and quotes, and even a designated "Throwback" Thursday showing the history of credit cards and processing.
On our other social media channels, like Tumblr and Pinterest, NDCN is focusing more on images. We've started several boards on Pinterest, and consistently add new content. NDCN plans to eventually add a board dedicated to our innovative mobile swiper solution to show merchants how useful and easy the device is and the numerous advantages over competitors like Square.
On Tumblr NDCN updates with inspirational and motivational quotes, along with interesting photos of vintage credit card processing, and Americana imagery.
NDCN understands how important Twitter is, and uses the social media channel to reach out to merchants who are frustrated with other credit card processing companies. We send out useful tweets such as tips, business news, and other important information small business owners should know.
