Although Ráv is currently independent back in 2009 Ráv Thomas was in the process of signing to Universal but due to the untimely GFC (Global Financial Crisis) Ráv's debut EP was never released and soon after his career was at dwindling point when he fell ill to crippling appendicitis.

His story is unique, motivational and in case you don't already know who Ráv Thomas is you soon will. Ráv's unique sound and proficient song writing ability started at the tender age of 8 where he grew up in Tasmania writing music and singing in local country pubs, collaborating with local artists.

With solid music and a strong image that later sealed him promotion through Man Power Australia, Ráv Thomas finally returned to the industry spot light playing with some of Australia's best talent including the likes of Multi Aria award winner Vanessa Amorosi, Evermore, Thirsty Merc, Kate Cebrano, Jimmy Barnes, Mental As Anything, Diesel, Toni Childs, James Reyne just to name a few.

Like A Game Show Host was recorded at Woodstock Studios with Robin Mai (John Butler, Jet, Temper Trap, Augie March, Missy Higgins).

Ráv Thomas music catalogue is mostly ballad-driven and often heavier in its subject matter, the new single is up-tempo and easy to grab hold of and whilst the track remains true to Ráv's acoustic style, it loses none of its pop sensibility and wider commercial appeal.

To conclude Ráv Thomas is not your average run of the mill musician, his sheer unique talent and vibrant music such as 'Like A Game Show Host' defines his genuine and authentic persona turning the negatives into positives.
