Localphone January Sale Commences

Localphone waives the setup fees for its Incoming Numbers service.

Localphone has announced it has waived the set up fees for the popular Incoming Numbers service for one month giving customers a saving of up to 83%.

Paul Cusack, Localphone founder and CEO, said "Incoming Numbers is a service that makes it much cheaper for friends and family to call a loved one abroad as well as a useful service for businesses with international customers to use. We look forward to expanding the Incoming Numbers service to even more countries in 2012."

If you're abroad, how does it work?

1. Buy a number that's local to your friends.
2. Forward it to your landline, mobile or computer.
3. Your friends can call you on a local number and you pay for the international leg of the call at Localphone's low rates. Customers can also forward calls to the Localphone Internet Phone or VoIP service and it's free to talk.

For example, if you're in Spain and your family call you from the United States on your US Incoming Number, you pay the Localphone Spanish rates for the duration of the call. If you forward calls to the Localphone Internet Phone or VoIP service it's free to talk.

Normally Localphone charge a setup fee when you buy an Incoming Number. For one month only there are no setup fees and customers will only pay the small monthly fee, which can be as little as 75p. This promotion will save Localphone customers up to 83%. The setup fees will come into effect again at 12 noon GMT 6th February 2012.

Localphone, founded in 2007 by British serial entrepreneur Paul Cusack, is a leading provider of cheap international calls and SMS services.
