The Kent Community Foundation invites the community to join it in celebrating this year's scholarship winners at its annual awards banquet on Wed., June 4. Hosted with the Kent Chamber of Commerce, the annual awards ceremony will be held at ShoWare Center (11:30 am to 1:00 pm) during the Chamber's monthly membership luncheon.

In addition to awarding 20 scholarships to Kent high school seniors, the event will include an inspirational message about the importance of the scholarships and information about how members of the community can donate or become more involved with the Foundation.

"We had so many exceptional scholarship applicants this year, it was hard to choose," Lew Sellers, Kent Community Foundation president, said. "It is such an honor to be able to help these young students continue their education."
