The nationally released psychological courtroom drama Justice Is Mind will screen at Cinemagic in Sturbridge, MA on March 24, 2014. Produced in central Massachusetts, Justice Is Mind returns to Zyacorp Entertainment's Cinemagic chain of theatres.
Justice Is Mind, the acclaimed psychological courtroom drama that has been screening at theatres, law schools and science fiction conventions in North America, is pleased to announce its next screening at Cinemagic in Sturbridge, Massachusetts on March 24, 2014 at 7 PM. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased online prior to the event. Sturbridge marks the second screening of Justice Is Mind at Zyacorp Entertainment's Cinemagic chain of theatres.
"Sturbridge will mark the tenth theatrical screening for Justice Is Mind and fifteenth overall," said Lund. "As an independent filmmaker, having the support of theatre chains like Cinemagic is critical to connecting with audiences and developing a following."
Set in the near future where advanced MRI technology can read your memory, Justice Is Mind follows businessman and restaurant owner Henri Miller who has been afflicted with unexplained headaches since childhood. When he has the new FVMRI procedure and it reveals that he has allegedly shot and killed two people, the trial of the century begins in which Miller is faced with his own memory at trial. But all is not as it seems as a dark family secret, held by Henri's minister father Joseph, reveals itself in the courtroom.
Lund adds, "From the ethical issues of neuroscience in the courtroom, to privacy issues around intelligence agencies, it has been very interesting to see what areas of Justice Is Mind resonate with audiences. When you consider the real world activities of the judiciary, legislative and executive branches of our government around the subjects addressed in the film, Justice Is Mind is extremely well timed."
Since its world premiere on August 18, 2013 in Albany, New York at the Capital District Film Festival, Justice Is Mind has screened all over New England with stops in Canada, Mississippi and California which included the University of Mississippi School of Law, University of Boston School of Law and VCON, Vancouver, Canada's premiere science fiction convention.
