III Points Festival will be held in the ultra-hip district of Wynwood, Miami. On October 3-5, 2013 the III Points Festival will blend music, art and technology through a series of live performances, lectures, film screenings, art exhibits, interactive games and seminars at locations across Wynwood. Local art galleries will also be participating with extended viewing hours. Performances by LCD Soundsystem founder James Murphy, Miami Horror, DJ Shadow, Hercules, XXYYXX, and Love Affair, among the officially booked 47 other musical acts.
The vision of this festival began with a partnership between legendary Miami club Bardot, and Young Turks (the label behind The xx and SBTRKT, among others). The Bardot team is composed of Wynwood pioneer Amir Ben-Zion, his partner, Erica Freshman, and music director David Sinopoli. Since Bardot opened its doors in 2009 they have hosted Erykah Badu, Moby, Nicolas Jaar, Grimes, Purity Ring, Capital Cities, and Flume.
TwinHaus' creator Tara Long and partner Yamil Rodriguez, helped curate the art portion of the summit. Additionally exciting, LAB Miami and their innovative social and tech entrepreneurs are also contributing.
