About The Legendary Awards:
The Legendary Awards was introduced to the world in 2010 by Visionary, Philanthropist and Entrepreneur Rhonda Wilkins. The concept was to provide a platform for "Living Legends" to be able to honor others that have made a difference in their life and/or career.
CEO and Creator, Rhonda Wilkins states that her passion for giving back started at an early age and that being apart of her church's organization gave her the knack for philanthropy. Additionally, she found joy in raising money for worthy causes in her church and community.
Fast forward to 1999, Wilkins successfully created Diva's Unlimited Inc., an event production boutique specializing in EVENT PRODUCTION | EVENT MARKETING. In 2009, Wilkins was approached by client NBA Hall of Famer, Dominique Wilkins to coordinate his 50th birthday celebration. Dominique's status as a basketball legend combined with such an important birthday milestone provided the perfect opportunity to launch the Legendary Awards. As a person known for turning her visions into reality, Rhonda eagerly accepted the task of creating and planning this event.
The Legendary Awards is dedicated to promoting empowerment of people working together to enhance and expand the awareness of a worthy cause.
We are growing!
Since its inception, the Legendary Awards host committee has implemented a few additional programs and initiatives that would help to raise awareness and funds for research for healthy living. In first quarter 2013, "We are looking to expand to help other organizations by creating our non-profit sector The Legendary Health Fund and Initiatives" states Wilkins.
