If the rumors hold up, zombie movie fans are in for a real treat. The project will take this genre to a whole new level as it stars zombies who have re-learned how to drive!

McClintock is used to collaborating with Birman, who is now directing the second to last episode of Warehouse 13, from the start of the wildly successful series as Birman has served as the series' 2nd

Unit Director and Stunt Coordinator from day one. They've been an ideal team and considering the huge success of the series, having them join forces again on this project definitely sounds like a winning plan. Writer/director extraordinaire George A. Romero will serve as Executive Producer on the film.

"Road of the Dead" has been described as Road Warrior meets Rollerball at a Nascar race, making it even more exciting for die hard zombie fans who have been looking for something new in the category. Driving zombies should provide a ton of exciting action and thrills to go along with the healthy serving of guts and brains that this genre's fans love.

The Dream Team

George A. Romero's acclaim is legendary. Since his genre-inventing "Night of the Living Dead", Romero has kept fans scared and disgusted with his visions of the zombie apocalypse, long considered the iconic films of the genre.

For Eddie McClintock, Warehouse 13 needs no introduction as the series premier posted most watched numbers in the U.S. and was the third highest rated for Syfy with more than 3.5 million viewers. In 2013, Warehouse received seven Portal Award nominations including Best Actor for Eddie McClintock and Best Series.

Matt Birman recently made his feature directorial debut with Sam Robert's award-winning script "a fish story", which also stars McClintock and features a rare cameo from Romero. The film made it's World Premier at the Newport Beach Film Festival and, in May, Birman won Best Director at the International Family Film Festival in LA for "a fish story'. The team also took Runner-Up honors for Best Foreign Film. 'a fish story' is currently on its way to acclaimed festivals in Boston, Montreal, and Burbank. Birman is also well known to zombie fans having teamed up with Romero on "Land of the Dead",

"Diary of the Dead", and "Survival of the Dead".

We expect when this exclusive report for "Road of the Dead" hits the Internet, fans will go wild. They'll be excited, as are we, to see what mayhem and destruction race car-driving zombies will bring.

Considering the all-star quality of the team, expectations for "Road of the Dead" are bursting with possibility.
