Firm's Clients Reduce Energy Consumption 20 - 30%, Save $2.8 Billion

Organizations that have collectively saved more than $2.8 billion over the last 26 years celebrate Earth Day every day. That amount of money is a lot of public funds and a lot of natural resources saved.

While the world celebrates Earth Day, Energy Education and its clients will celebrate being good stewards of the Earth each and every day. Together, they've helped save more than $2.8 billion in utility costs over the last 26 years and significantly reduced their carbon footprint.

"We help our clients manage more than $1 billion in annual utility costs. Most of that money is from public funds and every penny is essential. Our engineers and consultants help clients identify ways to cut 20, 30, 40 percent and more from previous energy use - that saves those public funds. It saves natural resources by reducing CO2 emissions. It has a ripple effect. Because our clients can do more with the funds they have, they can better serve their communities." said Dr. Randy Hoff, Energy Education's Chief Executive Officer.

The cost of utilities is the second largest budget line-item for many organizations, and the prices for electricity, natural gas, heating oil and water have steadily increased over the past few years. To combat these rising energy and utility costs, schools, colleges, universities and other entities enter into a partnership with Energy Education to implement a comprehensive organizational-behavior based energy conservation program throughout their buildings and campuses. Energy Education guarantees the self-funding conservation program will save taxpayer dollars, save jobs and preserve important programs while saving vital natural resources.

Energy Education helps clients manage more than $1 billion in annual utility costs. The company's innovative Transformational Energy Management® process trains client personnel to implement behavioral and organizational change that substantially reduces energy consumption without the purchase of new equipment. The program is funded solely and rapidly by the savings it generates, allowing clients to redirect saved energy dollars to other priorities. In 26 years, Energy Education has worked with more than 1,200 educational and ministry organizations, helping clients save over $2.8 billion in utility costs. Energy Education earned the 2011 and 2012 ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence Award from the United States Environmental Protection Agency and was named ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for 2009 and 2010.
