Featured on FOX News, The Stand Foundation is pleased to announce the first ever virtual Job Fair in the state of Arkansas on December 3, 2013.
December 1, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The Stand Foundation and JobExpo365 will be hosting a Virtual Job Fair on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 10 am to 6 pm Central Time.
JobExpo365 allows employers to connect with top talent and gives job seekers the opportunity to apply for dozens of available positions without the inconvenience and expense of traditional job fairs.
"This is going to be the first Virtual Job Fair in the state of Arkansas," said Sean Johnson of the Stand Foundation.
Following the success of other virtual events, the Virtual Job Fair will allow recruiter and applicants to connect online. Unlike the physical limitations of an offline Job Fair, candidates can immediately submit their details for the job in real time after speaking with a recruiter or the HR department.
"So much is done online these days and this has already been proven successful in many other markets," he explained.
"It's just like a physical Job Fair. There is a lobby and be able to go in to each booth to chat live with recruiters from the human resources," added Johnson.
"We are excited to partner with The Stand, a leader in empowering individuals and organizations. We strongly believe that we can jumpstart job creation in this country by deploying this new innovative approach as a Virtual Career Fair Marketplace (JobExp365)," said Matt Fok, Founder and CEO of eZ-Xpo.
"First, we need to bridge the gap between the employer's expectation and job seeker's skills by offering both skill assessment and online internship program. By educating every job seeker and college graduate about employer expectations before every virtual job fair, both the employer and job seeker will have a better chance at finding the right match," added Fok.
Within JobExpo365 - Virtual Career Fair, employers host exhibitor booths that include links to job postings, company profiles, employee benefits, and employer contact information, and allow job seekers to communicate one-on-one with company representatives. Post-event, employers receive in-depth analytics including candidate resumes, applications, chat transcripts, and booth visit data. All job openings posted during the fair will be accessible to participants after the live event.
