Each year Sylvan Dale's Spring Break Ranch Camp comes to the rescue, offering a full range of age-appropriate and safe outdoor activities that focus on the natural environment and the western lifestyle.
2013 Family Affair Spring Break Ranch Camp Schedule:
The 2013 camp schedule coincides with all local area school Spring Break weeks, including Poudre Valley school district, Thompson Valley school district, and Weld County Schools.
Week 1: March 18 - 22, 2013, Poudre Valley Schools
Week 2: April 1 - 5, 2013, Thompson Valley and Weld County Schools
Ranch Camp is available for kids 8-12, and runs Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
A full week of camp is $398 per child, including all activities and morning snacks. Campers need to bring their own sack lunch.
Ranch Camp activities are supervised by experienced Ranch staff and include activities such as:
- Horseback riding lessons
- Trail rides
- Natural history hikes
- Scavenger hunts
- River ecology
- Ranch chores
- Gathering eggs
- Horse care
- Exploring Cottonwood Gulch
- Campfire and S'mores
- Games on horseback
