Online, April 20, 2012 (Newswire.com) - BMW of Santa Maria is proud to offer Central Coast customers more than just a car; drivers can also receive the luxury and security that comes with owning a BMW, such as roadside assistance. The Santa Maria BMW dealer honors BMW Roadside Assistance, which offers coverage 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
One of the many perks of BMW Roadside Assistance is that it is offered on both new and pre-owned vehicles with no mileage restrictions. It is available for the first four years from the original in-service date for new BMWs, and six years from the original in-service date for certified pre-owned. The service is also applicable in all 50 states, Canada, and Puerto Rico, and the vehicle is still covered if someone else is driving.
Some of the assistance BMW provides through the service includes flat tires, dead batteries, lock-out service, towing, personalized trip routing, and more, up to $100 coverage per incident. BMW will even provide fuel in the event the vehicle runs out, although the cost of the fuel is not covered under the program. Should the BMW break down 100 miles or more from home, the service covers some of the costs of the interrupted trip, such as meals, lodging, and car rentals, for up to five days and $1,000 per incident.
BMW Roadside Assistance is available to all BMW owners who qualify at no cost, subject to certain limitations and exclusions.
