CCA For Social Good to Present at Child Care Aware® of America 2014 Symposium

Discussion and demonstration of a web-based knowledge hub that supports and strengthens ECE shared resources and services models.

Child Care Aware® of America has selected CCA For Social Good to jointly present with the Early Learning Ventures Alliance at their 2014 Symposium. The event will take place April 2-4, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Washington Capitol Hill. This 3-day event for child care and early education professionals will focus on four key areas; Policy, Research, Practice, and Innovation.

"Stronger Together: Achieving Greatness in Operations, Quality and Early Childhood Education through Shared Resources and Shared Services" will be jointly presented by Denise Sayer, Vice President of CCA for Social Good and Judy Williams, Program Director, Early Learning Ventures-Merage Foundations. The session will discuss how effects of sequestration, drastic budget cuts, changes in the overall business environment and the need to implement quality rating and improvement systems necessitates that Early Childhood Education (ECE) programs must adapt in order to remain successful and viable. The shared resources and shared services models addresses these challenges by streamlining and increasing operational efficiencies that allows more time and money to be dedicated on delivering quality childcare.

"Although we may think our problems and needs are different, the reality is that ECE programs share a lot of the same common concerns and issues." says Denise Sayer, Vice President, CCA For Social Good, "These concerns can be addressed by adopting and delivering a 'shared' resources and services model. Together, CCA For Social Good and Early Learning Ventures will demonstrate an innovative approach for the Early Childhood Education industry, which involves sharing resources and services via a unique web-based platform."
