Casino Royale Gala to Benefit Families of World War II Veterans Foundation Scholarship Program

This Casino Royale gala, to be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 in the Coronado Ballroom at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., will host many WWII veterans and their families.

DALLAS, Texas - Families of World War II Veterans is a non-profit foundation whose purpose is to honor the heroes of World War II, those who are passing from us at a rate of close to 1,000 each day. This foundation will host a gala to benefit these veterans and their families on April, 14, 2012.

One unique way this foundation honors the legacies of these heroes is by fostering educational opportunities through scholarship donations made available by community members. To honor the heroic sacrifices of World War II veterans, the Families of World War II Veterans Scholarship is awarded to graduating high school students who will pursue an undergraduate degree at the college of their choice as well as post-graduate work for students pursuing further education.

The Families of World War II website, www.familiesWW2veterans.org, provides resources and photos in an attempt to tell these heroes' stories, but the real story is told with the opportunity to meet one of these true heroes face-to-face and hear their story, as only they can tell it.

The Families of World War II Veterans Foundation, founded and chaired by Barbara Williams, Chief Executive Officer at Careington International Corporation, headquartered in Frisco, Texas, is providing such an opportunity in a gala designed to benefit the foundation and further its ability to preserve the legacy of these brave men and women and their families.

This Casino Royale gala, to be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 in the Coronado Ballroom at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., will host many WWII veterans and their families, tell their story and share their legacy. The event will showcase keynote speaker Admiral Patrick M. Walsh, USN, Retired, and a special performance by the Victory Belles who perform music from the era. The casino-themed evening will include dancing, a silent auction and a light buffet.

The Families of World War II Veterans gala will provide attendees a unique opportunity to hear the heroes' stories, see their faces and help carry on their legacy while raising money to fund its scholarship program. The Casino Royale gala will be a night for all in attendance to remember.
